India Is Planning To Go Back To Its Roots And May Be Renamed Bharat In Special Session Of Parliament On 18 September.

India has been known by the ancient name ‘Bharat’ for thousands of years – the name is found in ancient Sanskrit texts. The name ‘India’ was given by the colonial Raj and is thus a symbol of slavery🇮🇳

‘President Of Bharat’ In G20 Dinner Invite spark rumours – has been fuelled by an unusual move by the Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House), which sent out invites for a G20 dinner on September 9 in the name of the President of Bharat instead of the usual President of India.

Reacting to the invite, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said, “So the news is indeed true. Rashtrapati Bhawan has sent out an invite for a G20 dinner on September 9 in the name of ‘President of Bharat’ instead of the usual ‘President of India’.”

Recently, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had said that people should use the name “Bharat” instead of India and urged people to inculcate the habit.

“The name of our country has been Bharat for ages. Whatever may be the language, the name remains the same,” Bhagwat had said at an event in Assam.

“The British changed Bharat’s name to India. Under Article 1, the Constitution states: ‘India, that is Bharat’.

It should be noted that recently, after the opposition alliance named itself INDIA, many BJP leaders had been emphasising the Bharat moniker.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had replaced India with Bharat on his X bio.
