Israel has confirmed that the seven hostages have successfully crossed into Israeli territory.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated, “A short while ago, accompanied by IDF and ISA personnel, the seven returning hostages crossed the border into Israeli territory. They are currently en route to an initial reception point in southern Israel.”
These seven hostages include two Israelis—a man and a woman—and five Thai nationals. The IDF noted that the five Thai citizens will be greeted by officials from the Thai government.
Additionally, the eighth hostage, Agam Berger, who was scheduled for release today, has already returned to Israel after being released separately earlier.
