Will Cole Palmer move from Chelsea to Manchester United?

By Kay Noel

Cole Palmer’s potential move to Manchester United has been making headlines, but Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior is putting the brakes on the speculation. Palmer, a boyhood Manchester United supporter, has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, but Rosenior insists he’s “very happy” at Chelsea and considers him “untouchable” .

Palmer, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City in 2023, has been struggling with injuries this season, making only 13 appearances with five goals. Despite this, Rosenior praises Palmer’s professionalism and dedication, emphasizing he’s a key part of Chelsea’s long-term plans .

Nigeria Magazine sport analyst Kay Noel thinks Manchester United’s setup will unlikely accomodate Palmer, citing left-footed players like Ahmad, Mbeuno, and Matheus Cunha. However, with Palmer contracted to Chelsea until 2033, any move would likely require a significant fee.
