President Bola Tinubu has reassured the nation that the discontinuation of the fuel subsidy will open doors for investments in alternative energy sources, infrastructure, and public services.
Speaking at the concluding ceremony of the University of Ilorin’s three-day combined convocation for the 37th and 38th academic sessions, Tinubu emphasized that the short-term inconveniences resulting from the subsidy removal are a necessary step toward a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.
