The Adesuwa Africa exhibition, which ran for a month at Lambeth Archives in Brixton, London, came to a close on Saturday, 17th May, 2015.
✅Over its duration, the exhibition attracted more than 1,100 visitors, all of whom had access to the Archives hosting the event. From the opening day to the closing date, visitors gave very positive reviews, with many calling for an extension or a follow-up this year.

✅Attendees included individuals from the local community and across the UK, all impressed by the quality of work by the artists and the diversity of the 23 women featured.




✅The exhibition’s portrayal of women’s empowerment resonated deeply with its audience. Overall, it was deemed highly successful.
✅Visitors also praised curator Esosa Aihie for effectively explaining the themes behind Adesuwa Africa’s art collections.
