The Ministry of Niger Delta and the Ministry of Sports Development have been scrapped, with their functions reassigned to other bodies.
A new Ministry of Regional Development will now oversee regional development commissions, including the Niger Delta Development Commission.
Additionally, the Ministry of Tourism will merge with the Ministry of Culture and Creative Economy. The National Sports Commission will take over the Ministry of Sports’ responsibilities. These changes aim to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in governance.
