Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has declared a 24-hour curfew in Kano State.
This was announced in a statement signed by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Governor’s spokesperson. The statement mentioned that the governor has directed all security agencies in the state to ensure compliance.
This decision follows the EndBadGovernment peaceful protest in Kano, which turned violent, resulting in one death and several critical injuries.
