Efe Uwaifo won the gold medal for Triple Jump at the British Athletics Championships in Manchester yesterday🏆
He has maintained an unwavering commitment to improving his technique and a steadfast conviction that his best is yet to come. This commitment has been fostered by the incredible support he has received from coaches and mentors along the way as well as backing from adidas. Now the euphoria is over, he is back to training and the journey continues.

I am delighted to share my joy at my son Efe Uwaifo winning the gold medal for Triple Jump at the British Athletics Championships in Manchester yesterday
“Getting the British 2023 Triple Jump crown is the most resounding victory he has had for about 5 years. He enjoyed a great deal of success as an undergraduate international student athlete on the Harvard University Track and Field team which he later captained. “
“Since graduating from Harvard in 2017, he has unfortunately struggled with injury, disappointments, sheer bad luck as well as the difficulties that come with balancing sport with professional roles in banking, tech and venture capital.”
“The pain was sometimes so deep that at times I believed he should quit – but not Efe! “
