Access Bank Plc has appointed Ifeyinwa Osime as its new Chairman, effective February 2, 2026, marking a new chapter in the bank’s leadership journey. Osime, a seasoned legal practitioner and corporate governance expert, brings over 30 years of experience to the role.

With a background in law and corporate governance, Osime is well-positioned to lead Access Bank’s board through its next phase of global expansion. Her expertise spans both private and public sectors, having served as a Partner at McPherson Legal Practitioners and Director at Ebudo Trust Limited.

Osime joins the bank with extensive boardroom experience, having previously served as:

  • Board Chairman, Coronation Life Insurance Company Ltd
  • Non-Executive Director, Bank PHB (now Keystone Bank Limited)
  • Independent Non-Executive Director, Access Bank Plc (since November 2019)
