The Black AI Futures event was held on Wednesday 12 November at Westminster Parliament, bringing together a panel of experts to discuss the future of artificial intelligence in education. Speakers included Hameed Adigun, Jenny Gareth OBE, Bernadette Lewis, Mark Martin, Yvonne Apiyo Brandie-Amoyo, and Dino Myers-Lamptey, who shared insights on the opportunities, challenges, and emerging solutions within the AI landscape.






Attendees described the panel discussions and Q&A session as highly informative, highlighting the importance of equitable and forward-thinking approaches to AI adoption.
The event received support from Dawn Butler, Member of Parliament for Brent East and Vice-Chair of the AI All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG).
