A 9-year-old Nigerian student, Charlotte Muritala, is attracting attention for her impressive ability to solve and teach mathematics, using social media to make complex mathematical concepts easier for young learners.
Charlotte, who hails from Offa, Kwara State, developed an interest in mathematics at about the age of five. What began as a childhood interest has grown into an educational passion, with the young mathematician now using TikTok to share lessons with other learners.
With little more than a whiteboard, marker and smartphone, Charlotte creates simple mathematics lessons covering topics such as algebra, fractions, cross multiplication and the Lowest Common Multiple (LCM).
