The number of protesters has decreased compared to the same time yesterday. On Thursday, the first day of the 10-day protest, a large crowd had gathered at Ikeja Underbridge.
Today, Friday, business activity is noticeably higher across many parts of the state, with more people out and about than yesterday.
In Port Harcourt, demonstrators have come together at Pleasure Park to continue their protest.
Compared to Day 1 on Thursday, there are more cars and commercial taxis on the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Expressway, also known as Airport Road, on Day 2, Friday. The road is busier this morning.
Meanwhile, at Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park, there was a brief clash between residents opposed to the #EndBadGovernance protest and the protesters. Some of the demonstrators were trying to set up public address systems inside the park.
