Nigeria Magazine: The Nigeria Magazine International Women’s Day Award held on 24 March @ Double Tree By Hilton, Victoria London

Awards were presented to outstanding women across five categories: business; finance; social; culture; intellectual fields. A Special Category Award was presented to Reverend Dr Yakubu Pam (Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission) for his work for promoting and supporting gender equity for women

Rev Dr Yakubu Pam, said he is proud to, “identify with the women of Nigeria”

The Culture Category Awards were presented to:

Her Royal Highness, Olori Aiyivieruewinoya ‘Ivie’ Emiko-Atuwatse III

In her acceptance speech, HRH Olori Atuwatse, thanked Nigeria Magazine for the Award, her mother, sisters and friends who flew into London to support her. “As women we find a way to support each other regardless and again thanks to Nigeria Magazine for celebrating that today”

Dr Adaeze Okoye (Principal lecturer and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Lead, School of Business and Law at the University of Brighton, UK)

The Finance Category Awards were presented to:
