Lawsuit Filed Over Alleged Nigerian Businessman’s Fatal Helicopter Clash In California

The family of Abimbola Ogunbanjo, a prominent Nigerian businessman, has filed a lawsuit against Orbic Air LLC, the charter company involved in the helicopter crash that claimed his life and five others in February.

The lawsuit alleges negligence, stating that the flight should have been grounded due to dangerous weather conditions in the Mojave Desert.

Ogunbanjo, along with other notable individuals including Herbert Wigwe, CEO of Nigeria’s Access Bank, tragically lost their lives in the crash.

The lawsuit seeks answers and accountability for the incident, emphasizing that flying in wintry conditions was entirely preventable.

Orbic Air has yet to respond to the allegations as investigations by the National Transportation Safety Board continue.
