The Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, has approved an interest-free loan of N240 million to Mrs Tare Korumene, a 51-year-old entrepreneur who creates organic hair extensions from plantain stems.
This innovative business, transforming agricultural waste into eco-friendly hair products, impressed the Governor during a live presentation in Yenagoa.
The loan was announced at the launch of the Bayelsa E-Commerce Entrepreneurship Programme (BEEP), themed “Made in Bayelsa, Sold To The World,” supporting local entrepreneurship and sustainable development
