Nigeria Welcomes New U.S. Consul General Brandon HudspethNigeria has welcomed Brandon Hudspeth as the new Consul General at the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos.
Hudspeth returns to Nigeria with extensive diplomatic experience, having previously served as the Consulate’s Political-Economic Section Chief. Most recently, he served as Deputy Chief of Mission in Namibia.
His career also includes diplomatic postings in the Philippines, Mali, Cuba, and Afghanistan, as well as service in Washington.His appointment is expected to strengthen U.S.-Nigeria relations and deepen cooperation between both countries. Welcome back to Nigeria, Consul General Hudspeth! 🇳🇬🇺🇸
