Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has declared that he is a mad man who is undergoing treatment at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta.
Portable said this while appealing to Nigerians and the Ogun State Government on Tuesday after being declared wanted by the state police command.
Portable in multiple rants took to his Instagram on Tuesday appealing to Nigerians and the state governor, Dapo Abiodun alleging that he was set up because he was putting on a vest with the face of Senator Adeola Solomon popularly known as Yayi.
The singer also noted that he was a madman and has a card at Aro hospital where he usually takes his treatment.
He said, “I fear government. I am a federal government liability. Then I’m a madman; I have medications that I usually take. You can confirm from Aro Hospital. I have a card that certifies me as one of their patients.
“I am from Abeokuta and they are taking care of me there. I am not a thief, I help people around me without even looking at their background.”

His disclosure came after the Ogun State police command declared him wanted following an attack on officials of the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.

However, in a statement on its social media handle, X, the Ogun Police Command declared Portable wanted, citing a court order.
“The Ogun State Police Command has obtained a valid court order declaring him wanted. Members of the public are strongly advised to assist the police by providing any valuable information that can lead to his immediate arrest. Anyone found aiding or harbouring the suspect will face legal consequences,” the statement reads in part.
Appealing to Nigerians and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, Portable, in a series of videos on his Instagram page on Tuesday, insisted on his innocence and claimed to have a medical record at Aro Psychiatric Hospital.

In a video posted on his verified Instagram account on Tuesday, Portable claimed to be a patient at the Ogun State Psychiatric Hospital, hours after being declared wanted by the state command of the Nigeria Police Force.
Portable further sought help from Nigerians and the Ogun State Government following his alleged assault against officials of the state government at his bar.

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has claimed he is undergoing psychiatric treatment at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta.
Portable made the revelation on Tuesday while appealing to Nigerians and the Ogun State Government after being declared wanted by the state police command.
The singer was accused of assaulting three officials of the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office—TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi—who were on an enforcement assignment at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu, Ota.
