The Nigerian government temporarily banned Emirates Airlines from operating in Nigeria over its refusal to fly passengers without a pre-boarding Rapid Diagnostic Test (RTD). A measure designed to curb spread of COVID19. The conditions listed are, number of passengers on inbound flights from Nigeria to the UAE should not exceed 200 passengers for two weeks. Only direct flights between the UAE and Nigeria will be allowed. Passengers are required present valid negative PCR test conducted within 48 hours before boarding.
