Coalition Members are Enemies of Nigeria, Says ADC’s Kachikwu

By Anuoluwapo Oyeniran

Dumebi Kachikwu, the 2023 presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has described members of the newly formed opposition coalition as enemies of Nigeria who will take the country backwards.

He criticised the coalition’s adoption of the ADC as its platform for the 2027 elections, stating that Nigerians could no longer be fooled by the same old politicians who had held power for decades.

Kachikwu lamented that these politicians had brought Nigeria to its current state, where 80% of the population lived in poverty. He also criticised the coalition’s leadership, saying they were out of touch with the needs of younger Nigerians, who made up 70% of the population.

Kachikwu accused the coalition of hijacking the ADC through illegitimate means and questioned the legitimacy of their actions, pointing out that the party’s national chairman, Ralph Nwosu, had completed his tenure two years ago.
