From Personal Struggle to Professional Purpose

Julie’s journey into care began as a personal calling, driven by her experience of supporting her family through a challenging time. When her nephews and nieces entered the care system, Julie stepped forward to provide a loving home, and this experience sparked a passion to help other young people in similar situations.

A Mission to Make a Difference

Motivated by her personal experience, Julie trained as a Psychotherapist and worked with young people to help them overcome trauma and build resilience. She founded Bridgestock Housing, a semi-independent care home, to provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people transitioning from foster care to independence.

Transforming Lives

Under Julie’s guidance, Bridgestock has supported over 20 young people, helping them find stability and thrive. Julie’s faith fuels her resilience and drive to create loving environments for children who need them most.
