The Australian government announced this selection last Wednesday, with Oyetunji set to assume office in April, succeeding Margaret Crawford after her eight-year tenure.

Oyetunji, who boasts extensive experience, held roles at the NSW Audit Office for 16 years and later served in various positions at the Australian National Audit Office.

The appointment, based on merit, received praise from Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, highlighting it as a source of pride for Nigerians abroad.

Oyetunji’s diverse background in strategy, governance, finance, and auditing positions him well for his new executive leadership role.
