The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has inaugurated its National Campaign Management Committee for the 2027 presidential election, as the party steps up preparations for its presidential candidate, Seyi Makinde.
The campaign council, headed by former Minister of State for Aviation, Felix Hassan Hyat, as Director-General, is expected to drive the party’s mobilisation and grassroots engagement ahead of the election.
Speaking at the inauguration in Abuja, the National Chairman of the APM, Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, called on Nigerians seeking a reset of the country to support the party.
Dantalle said the campaign would focus on engaging voters, canvassing for support and communicating the programmes and policies of the APM to Nigerians.
He urged members of the campaign council to take the party’s message to communities across the country and work towards building stronger support for its presidential ticket.
On his part, the Director-General of the National Campaign Management Committee, Felix Hassan Hyat, said the campaign would be anchored on discipline, inclusiveness and a commitment to national development.
Hyat also rejected what he described as deceit and lies in political campaigns, stressing the need for the APM to present its message to Nigerians with clarity and sincerity.
Representing the presidential candidate, Seyi Makinde, the party’s Vice Presidential Candidate, Mamman Daura, said the campaign would remain focused on taking the party’s message to Nigerians ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The APM said it would also leverage its voter registration drive and grassroots mobilisation efforts to expand its presence across the country.
With the inauguration of the campaign management committee, the party says it is positioning its structures for an effective nationwide campaign as the 2027 presidential election draws closer.
