My visit to and tour of MOWAA went beyond the beautiful scenery, pavilion, artefacts, and paintings on display. It was my conversation with young Nigerian researchers who are gaining experience from collaborations with Cambridge University, University of Ibadan, and other institutional organisations that really stood out. I was impressed with the young men and women doing soil testing.
The impressive infrastructure is of a global standard, with climate control inside the building, a testament to the use of the Benin red earth. I was also very impressed with viewing artefacts in 3D.
